The most disrespected people in schools are Black girls. The most unprotected people in schools are Black girls. The most neglected people in schools are Black girls. Black girls are overly targeted and assaulted by school police, rendering them under-protected and over-policed. In this workshop, we will explore the impact of school policing on Black girls, and discuss how we are organizing for a world with police-free schools, centered in safe spaces for healing and self-determination.
