The session will be an overview of various mechanisms that can be used to dismantle police presence in communities. Participants will leave this session empowered with strategies and ideas for attacking the police state, including: strategies for identifying policing issues through data collection; using city and policing budgets to engage a divest/invest strategy; and organizing to implement alternatives to calling 911.
