When They Said It Was Impossible: Winning Campaigns & Building the World as it Should Be

Sunday, June 17, 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM in the Lecture Hall (childcare provided)

We must dismantle the current system of policing and build the alternatives as we do it.  Both are necessary. This community conversation focuses on local police victories across the three policing movements that have had national implications: Labor Community Strategy Center’s End 1033 Campaign, Puente Arizona’s Bazta Arpaio Campaign, LEAN’s Police out of Schools Campaign, and the alternatives grounded in the survival and resilience of our communities.
