FIERCE!
FIERCE is an LGBTQ youth of color-led organization, building the leadership, political consciousness, and organizing skills of LGBTQ youth. In New York City, FIERCE organizes local grassroots campaigns to fight police harassment and violence and increase access to safe public space for LGBTQ youth. During this workshop, attendees will be walked through a historical timeline of the creation, intentions, and critical points of state violence, and share how state violence impacts their lives and their people directly. Attendees will also participate in visioning exercise, creating a world without a system of police and state violence.
