Keeping the Conversation Going: Call for Papers for Movement Lawyering Publication

Advancement Project National Office and Thurgood Marshall Civil Rights Center at Howard University School of Law invite you to continue the conversation from Fall 2019’s Inaugural Movement Lawyering Conference.
In response to the successful Movement Lawyering Conference put on by Advancement Project National Office, Thurgood Marshall Civil Rights Center and Law for Black Lives, we invite you to submit articles for publication in what will be a special issue in the Fifth Volume of the Howard Human & Civil Rights Law Review dedicated entirely to movement lawyering.
Topics must be movement lawyering related – any area is welcome as long as it discusses how power is being built around that issue as well as what the lawyers’ role is in that work. Articles should be a maximum of 15,000 words, including footnotes. Shorter entries are encouraged. We are also open to creative and non-traditional entries. Authors are invited to submit an abstract of no longer than 250 words.
