Leadership Transition

Interviews have begun, and we are still accepting applications!

We’re looking for our next Executive Director – a visionary, ambitious, strategic, and values-aligned leader to guide us through the next chapter of the organization as we strive to counter the rising tide of anti-democratic and racist forces.

In response to the original call for applications in Fall 2025, Advancement Project was heartened to hear from many talented candidates. We are holding onto those applications as we move forward. At the same time, the challenges facing the social justice sector have made it difficult for leaders to find the time to prepare an application, let alone consider a career move. For this reason, we are remaining open to new applications on a rolling basis.

Following the priority deadline on March 1st, the Leadership Transition Committee began reviewing and selecting candidates on a rolling basis. Initial interviews will take place by April 2026.
