Letter: Re: COVID-19 and Vulnerable Populations Incarcerated in Arizona

Advancement Project National Office and Puente Human Rights Movement recently sent a letter to the Arizona Department of Corrections and the Phoenix ICE Field Office outlining community concerns and demands to comply with humanitarian recommendations and release people inside Arizona cages. Continued incarceration has been, and will remain, a death sentence. To protect our most vulnerable community members, we demand that the State of Arizona release or provide adequate treatment and protections for people in cages.
