Let’s Get You Ready to Vote! Join us today, tonight and next week!

October 7, 2020

We’re another week closer to Election Day, and this week we’re watching the vice presidential debate, uplifting messaging around young voters of color, and teaming up with the Washington Football Team to encourage people to register to vote.

Check out what we have going on this week:

Tonight, Kamala Harris and Mike Pence will face off in the first and only vice presidential debate of the election season. Last week’s presidential debate incorrectly framed the uprisings this summer. Will this week’s debate attempt to falsely mischaracterize the movement to defend Black life?

Listen in at 9pm ET and join the discussion with us on social media using #Debate2020. We cannot allow false narratives and misleading rhetoric to mischaracterize our movement. Clap back and let your networks know that Black life is #NotUpForDebate.

TODAY, October 7 at 1pm. ET: Join us for our Young Voters of Color Polling Briefing. We will release new polling data around the issues motivating Black and Brown voters to vote this year! Register here.

Advancement Project National Office is teaming up with the Washington Football Team as they press reset on their commitment to racial justice. Join us for Turnout Tuesday to register football fans in the Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia area to vote in the upcoming 2020 presidential election.

Every Tuesday, between 7 – 10am and 4 – 7pm, DC, Maryland and Virginia fans can register to vote at FedEx Field, learn about voting, how FedEx Field will serve as an official voting location on Election Day, and get some Washington Team Football swag! Just drop by the stadium.
